Zion Chapel
"And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned."    Mark 16:15

Zion Chapel is the outgrowth of the efforts of two men, who during the 1960's were deeply convicted and taught of God. After prayerful deliberation, and not being able to agree with some of the doctrines of their established church, they decided to meet for worship in each other's homes. From there, God blessed and they rented a room at the Warm Friend Hotel in Holland, Michigan where regular services could be held. The church began to grow and twenty five years ago, the Lord gave the opportunity to purchase a small church on the southern edge of Holland.

The radio broadcast "Call to Worship" by Pastor, Bernie Timmerman has been aired for over 23 years and is heard around the world.  It proclaims the good news of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The London Baptist Confession of 1689 most closely teaches what we believe; although any type of confession of man can never be perfect - only the word of God. Some have called us Bunyan Baptists or Spurgeon Baptists.

Today, although we are a small congregation, the Lord has blessed in many ways and we are able to support varied mission ministries, both at home and abroad.

We welcome you to visit our church when you are in the area. If you would like more information, please feel free to contact us.
